NOIDA – Richa Maheshwari has stepped down from her role at Zee Media Corporation Limited (ZMCL) to join Times Internet as Specialist – Learning & Development (L&D). The move marks a strategic shift for Maheshwari within the HR landscape of India’s major media and digital ecosystems.
Five-Year Tenure at Zee Media
Maheshwari spent over half a decade at Zee Media, rising to the position of Deputy Manager – Human Resources. During her tenure, she was a key figure in the HR Business Partner (HRBP) units for several high-profile brands:

Regional Networks: Managing HR interventions for Zee Bihar Jharkhand and Zee Rajasthan.

Key Initiatives: She was instrumental in implementing Learning Management Systems (LMS), Training Needs Identification (TNI) frameworks, and the ‘Buddy System’ for employee onboarding.
Strategic Background
Prior to her long stint at Zee, Maheshwari served as a Specialist – People & Culture at Unilodgers, where she focused on workforce planning, attrition management, and HR transformation projects.
New Mandate at Times Internet
In her new capacity at Times Internet—the digital arm of the Times Group—Maheshwari will focus on scaling Learning & Development programs. Her role is expected to center on fostering a culture of continuous upskilling and designing strategic HR interventions to support the company’s diverse digital portfolio, which includes brands like TOI, Gaana, and MX Player.
