NEW DELHI – In a significant administrative reshuffle, the Home Department of the Government of National Capital Territory (GNCT) of Delhi has announced the transfer of a high-ranking Indian Police Service (IPS) officer.
According to an official order dated May 2, 2026, Shri Madhup Kumar Tiwari, an IPS officer of the 1995 AGMUT (Arunachal Pradesh-Goa-Mizoram and Union Territory) cadre, has been relieved of his duties with the Delhi Police. The order, signed by Deputy Secretary (Home-I) Ramesh Kumar, states that the decision follows a directive from the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India.

This transfer is part of the routine movement of officers within the AGMUT cadre, ensuring administrative efficiency across the associated states and union territories.
