CHENNAI — In a targeted administrative reshuffle within the state’s police hierarchy, the Tamil Nadu government has assigned new responsibilities to two senior Indian Police Service (IPS) officers.
The key postings announced include:

Prem Anand Sinha (IPS): Appointed as the Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) and Director of Vigilance & Anti-Corruption (DVAC), based in Chennai. He will spearhead the state’s anti-corruption investigations and oversight machinery.

Dr. A. Amalraj (IPS): Currently serving as the ADGP and Commissioner of Police for the Greater Chennai Police, Dr. Amalraj has been assigned the full additional charge of ADGP and Commissioner of Police, Tambaram.
