In a high-level administrative advancement, the Government of Uttar Pradesh has promoted three distinguished IPS officers from the 2001 batch to the rank of Additional Director General of Police (ADGP). Tarun Gauba, Ashutosh Kumar, and Pravin Kumar have been elevated to this senior rank, marking their entry into the top-tier leadership of the state’s police force. These officers bring over two decades of experience in complex investigations, internal security, and law and order management to their new roles.
