NEW DELHI — Media platform Travel + Leisure India & South Asia has appointed senior journalist and publishing executive Geetika Sasan Bhandari as its new Editor-in-Chief.
The strategic appointment coincides with the brand completing 20 years of operations in India. Alongside her new mandate, Bhandari will retain her role as Editorial Director at parent entity APX Luxury Limited and continue to helm Namaste.ai, the official inflight magazine of Air India.
With over 25 years of experience spanning print and digital publishing, Bhandari has held key editorial leadership positions across major media houses, including India Today Group, The Times of India, Cosmopolitan, Better Homes and Gardens, and Child. Her career extends across international markets—including Mumbai, Delhi, Chandigarh, Lagos, and Vietnam—bringing a broad cross-cultural perspective to luxury lifestyle publishing.
Commenting on the appointment, Annesha Sanyal, Country Director (India – Sales & Marketing) at APX Luxury Limited, stated that Bhandari’s editorial depth, industry experience, and proven track record in repositioning brand storytelling make her uniquely suited to guide the publication through its next phase of growth.
