MUMBAI — Marico Limited has appointed Rohit Jawa as an Additional Director in the capacity of Independent Director, effective January 1, 2027, for a five-year term running through December 31, 2031. The appointment was approved by Marico’s Board of Directors based on recommendations from the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, subject to shareholder approval via postal ballot.
Jawa brings over 38 years of corporate leadership and FMCG industry experience. He previously served as Managing Director and CEO of Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL) and President of Unilever South Asia until July 2025. Over his decorated international career with Unilever, he held key executive positions, including Chief of Transformation in London, Executive Vice President for North Asia and Chairman of Unilever China, and Chairman & CEO of Unilever Philippines.
