MUMBAI — Engineering and construction major Kalpataru Projects International Limited has announced the appointment of Amit Uplenchwar as Additional Director, Joint Managing Director, and Chief Executive Officer, effective January 1, 2027.
Uplenchwar possesses over 30 years of executive experience encompassing cross-border business management, corporate strategy, M&A, and infrastructure operations. His prior professional background features leadership roles at premier enterprise groups including Hindustan Construction Company, Adani Ports and SEZ, Dodsal Engineering and Construction, and Arthur Andersen.
Throughout his six-year tenure at Kalpataru Projects, Uplenchwar has spearheaded key enterprise growth strategies, global market penetration, and the successful acquisition of major international contracts, including key project awards from Saudi Aramco.
