PATNA — The Government of Bihar has reassigned senior bureaucrat Deepak Kumar Singh (IAS: BH: 1992) as Chief Adviser to the Bihar State Planning Council.
Singh transitions to the strategic planning body from his previous assignment as Additional Chief Secretary to the Governor of Bihar. Under the new posting arrangement, he maintains his dual charge as Director General-cum-Chief Inquiry Commissioner within the General Administration Department.
The appointment leverages the 1992-batch officer’s administrative experience to drive long-term macroeconomic planning and project framework design, while continuing to direct high-level state administrative inquiries.
