CHANDIGARH — Retired 1992-batch IAS officer Arun Gupta has been named Chairman of the Haryana Electricity Regulatory Commission (HERC).
Gupta transitions to the state power regulator following his outgoing assignment as Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister of Haryana.
As head of the statutory regulatory body, Gupta will guide state energy policy execution, tariff structure formulation, utility power procurement, and grid infrastructure oversight across Haryana.
