NEW DELHI — The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment of Namrata Gandhi (IAS: CG: 2013) as Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Ayush under the Central Staffing Scheme.
The decision follows the recommendation of the Civil Services Board (CSB). Gandhi, who is currently serving as Deputy Secretary in the Cabinet Secretariat, will move to her new role on a ‘lateral shift’ basis for a tenure of four years.
The lateral deployment shifts the 2013-batch Chhattisgarh cadre officer to oversee administrative and policy execution within the central government’s traditional medicine and wellness ministry.
