NEW DELHI — The Union Government has approved the appointment of senior Indian Police Service officer Ajay Kumar Yadav (IPS: HP: 1996) to the post of Additional Director General (ADG) within the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF).
Yadav joins the nation’s premier central armed police force on a deputation basis. His appointment will remain in effect through September 30, 2030, coinciding with his scheduled date of superannuation.
The strategic posting elevates the 1996-batch Himachal Pradesh cadre officer to high-level executive command, placing him in charge of operational strategy, internal security oversight, and administrative management at CRPF headquarters.
