NEW DELHI — The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved a one-year service extension for Rajesh Kumar Singh (IAS: Kerala, 1989) as Secretary, Department of Defence, Ministry of Defence.
The extension prolongs his tenure beyond his scheduled completion date of October 31, 2026, extending his leadership at the helm of defense administration through October 31, 2027. The strategic extension ensures leadership continuity within the Ministry of Defence as key modernization and procurement initiatives continue across the armed forces.
