CHENNAI — Equitas Small Finance Bank has named internal leader Balaji Nuthalapadi as its incoming Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, succeeding P.N. Vasudevan following his resignation earlier last week.
An IIM Ahmedabad alumnus, Nuthalapadi brings more than 28 years of industry experience in banking, financial services, and establishing Global Capability Centers (GCCs). He presently holds the position of Executive Director for Technology and Operations at the bank. The leadership transition is pending final approval and ratification by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).
