BENGALURU — Republic Media Network has announced the appointment of Anil Surendra as the National Head of its Kannada news broadcast arm, R. Kannada.
In his new role, Surendra will steer the channel’s monetization strategy, overseeing advertising sales and revenue generation across both national and regional markets. He will report directly to Mohit Dhamne, Group CEO of Republic Media Network.
Surendra brings more than 25 years of media sales experience to the position. He transitions from Asianet News Network, where he served for over a decade—most recently as Senior Vice President of Revenue Generation—leading ad sales for Asianet Suvarna News and Kannada Prabha. Over his career, he has held key commercial leadership positions across Aidem Ventures, Reliance Broadcast, Zee Networks, Mahuaa Media, Sahara India, and the Indian Express Group.
