KOLKATA / NEW DELHI: In a major bureaucratic realignment ahead of upcoming state administrative exercises, senior bureaucrat Ms. Neelam Meena has been officially re-designated as the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) of West Bengal.
An Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the 1998 batch from the West Bengal cadre, Meena will also hold the charge of Ex-Officio Principal Secretary in the high-profile Home and Hill Affairs Department of the state government.
