NEW DELHI — In an administrative redistribution within the Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT), Sunil Kumar Singh, Member (Systems & Income Tax Services), has been entrusted with the additional charge of Member (Income Tax).
Under this expanded mandate, Singh will directly oversee revenue administration, tax compliance, and operational supervision for the key zonal charges of Karnataka & Goa as well as Andhra Pradesh & Telangana.
The internal restructuring aims to maintain administrative efficiency, revenue monitoring, and high-level decision-making across the specified southern direct tax jurisdictions.
