NEW DELHI — In a major executive restructuring within the direct tax administration, the Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) has promoted six 1993-batch Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officers to the prestigious Higher Administrative Grade (HAG) for the 2026 panel year.
Following their elevation, the officers have been posted as Chief Commissioners and Directors General (DG) across key tax formations nationwide.
