KAVARATTI — IAS officer Jitendra Yadav is tipped to take over as the new Advisor to the Administrator of Lakshadweep, succeeding outgoing officer Deepak Kumar.
Yadav, a 2010-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer belonging to the AGMUT (Arunachal Pradesh-Goa-Mizoram and Union Territory) cadre, currently serves as the Director of Census Operations (DCO) and Director of Citizen Registration (DCR) for Lakshadweep. His anticipated elevation to the key administrative position makes him the top executive advisor aiding the Union Territory’s administration and governance policies.
