SAN FRANCISCO — Artificial intelligence research and deployment company OpenAI has appointed Jill Hazelbaker as Chief Corporate Affairs Officer. In her new executive role, Hazelbaker will lead the company’s global communications strategies, corporate positioning, and public engagement initiatives.
Hazelbaker joins OpenAI after serving as President and Chief Corporate Affairs Officer at Uber, where she spent nearly a decade guiding the mobility company’s global positioning, crisis management, and enterprise transformation. With nearly two decades of experience advising major technology firms and public leaders, her mandate at OpenAI centers on building public trust, engaging institutional stakeholders, and shaping clear global messaging around AI technology.
