NEW DELHI — The Union Government has approved the appointment of Siddharth Shiv Jaiswal, a 2016-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer from the Tripura cadre, as Deputy Secretary in the Department of Financial Services (DFS), Ministry of Finance.
The central deputation posting comes under the Central Staffing Scheme (CSS) and is sanctioned for a four-year tenure starting from the date he takes charge of the post. Jaiswal’s transition to the Ministry of Finance brings administrative expertise from state governance into key central policy functions oversight.
