NEW DELHI — In a key top-level military appointment, Lieutenant General IS Panjrath, SM, VSM, has officially assumed charge as the Director General of Army Air Defence (AAD), taking over the operational command of the Indian Army’s strategic air defense arm.
Following his takeover, Lt Gen Panjrath paid homage to fallen heroes by laying a wreath at the National War Memorial in New Delhi, honoring the bravehearts who made the supreme sacrifice in service of the nation.
