IMPHAL — Senior bureaucrat Rajeev Singh Thakur has been appointed as the new Chief Secretary of Manipur, following an inter-cadre deputation from his home cadre of Rajasthan to the northeastern state.
Thakur, a 1995-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer, takes over the state’s apex administrative post as part of a high-level governance restructuring.
